The top notes are REAL: cinnamon and rum +++
Totally unisex in a fun flexible way.
This is certainly gourmand, but not in the typical sweet/sucrosey/overtly-baked-goods way. This is the true equivalent of a spicy cinnamon gourmand.
It has a touch of sweetness/honey that rounds out the intense spices, just a touch - this is not "a honey perfume" foremost. The mention of tobacco spooked me before purchase, but it's not super strong/forthcoming - it just adds a depth and richness to this - basically it's a good thing here and very mild. It enhances the amber in an incense kind of way.
The vanilla and tonka are here I suppose, but definitely just around the edges. They're very gentle.
This doesn't smell overtly like 'apple pie' or 'biscuits' as per some people's review of the OG.
It is spicy amber but gourmand. Different to my usual but this is lovely.
