If Palermo have one strength, it is keeping within arms reach long since discontinued fragrances that either now cost a fortune to purchase or are otherwise near impossible to find. This is one of those.
The original Polo Red opens with plump & zesty cranberry notes that quickly gave way to an ambery coffee finish. The intense version amplifies and sustains those cranberry notes, whilst forgoing the morph into amber territory and keeping the coffee note as a quieter background partner instead. I'm happy to report this version captures that very well
