Inspired by Goultier 2 - JPGW187

This was my husbands favorite fragrance and when it was discontinued we were both upset. This smells the same as the original and we love it!

I have loved this unisex JP Gaultier 2 cologne for years, and was devastated when they stopped production. I know it’s available in EU again but not in AUS. This clone is so similar, smells great!

I was introduced to the original Goultier 2 by my partner as it was a unisex perfume. Unfortunately it had been discontinued. When I found it in the Palermo range, I originally bought it for him but have kept it for myself. The Palermo version is “spot on”. It is my go to day scent and have had many many compliments….. “Intoxicating” being one of them.
Thank you, please don’t ever stop making this one.

This is an earthy amber musk. A touch of incense. I cannot detect any vanilla. The dry down is animalic musk and sandalwood. This leans masculine. I was hoping for something a bit sweeter, but this is not sweet, so if you are seeking a gourmand touch this is not the one. It is not vanilla forward at all/if any.
I will give it to my boyfriend and this will be great on him as it it unisex/masculine-leaning.
For what it is, it is beautiful and enjoyable. But unfortunately, it's just not what I expected based on the Notes and the label of Women.
Reading from the description of OG 2005 gaultier 2, this does seem to be quite a different creature. Perhaps this is somewhere between 2005 and 2022 Gaultier 2.

Even the little paper stick that we sprayed the tester on has filled the house.
