It's significantly sweeter than the sugary notes in D&G Devotion or even Xerjoff's Italica and Lira combined—seriously, it's next-level indulgent. On its own, it's almost overwhelming—like biting into a cloud-like cake smothered in ultra-sweet icing. It’s so sweet it borders on nauseating when worn solo. But layered? That’s where the magic happens. When paired with oud-based fragrances, it transforms beautifully. I use this as a top layer over an oud fragrance that naturally develops into woody, balsamic honey notes on my skin. With Palermo layered on top, the intense sweetness is softened, creating a beautifully balanced gourmand profile—rich, smooth, and perfectly harmonised. I genuinely love wearing this fragrance. It’s niche, it’s bold, and it’s affordable. I truly hope Palermo never stops producing it.
