Nice, but not it

It is resinous. Spicy. Sweet. The tobacco is also very nicely prominent. But this is not Plum Japonais. I do not get the plum note at all, and the scent falls flat without it. It doesn't have that deep and full character of the original. Hate to say that the drydown isn't similar at all either. The original had much depth to the spice and the oud/plum accords. Can't forget the booziness either.

Addicting

Firstly, this is a discontinued scent, so to have a close clone is great. Its like tobacco with a sweet plumb.

Spicy incense

I haven’t tested the original Plum Japonais but this has a warm spicy and incense smell which suits best in colder weather. Reminds me a bit with Interlude Amouage

Plum???

Warm and spicy, a tinge of wood/floral and fresh earthy (dirt) tones. I love the smell of turned earth but from a perfume ...... nah, that's a bit weird. That aspect does soon fade away though and are left with the warm spicy drydown for several hours.
As for the plum, could't pick that note at all.
